LIVE Mural Painting at Scottsdale Quarter: Travis Ivey

Come see artist Travis Ivey paint a mural live at the Scottsdale Quarter during their Fall Concert Series on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 5-7 p.m.!

Scottsdale Quarter and Scottsdale Public Art present ART at the QuARTer: An on-going series of temporary public art events and installations at the Scottsdale Quarter. This fall, 5 artists will create 5 murals LIVE on-site at the Quad during Scottsdale Quarter's fall concert series.  Mural Painting takes place on the Quad at the Scottsdale Quarter, just outside of It'Sugar and True Food Kitchen on Saturday evenings during the Fall Concert Series.

After the murals are completed they will be installed along a stretch of wall on N 73rd Place, near the Creamistry and the Kona Grill at Scottsdale Quarter. Come see the murals as they are created, and watch the wall as a new mural will be added each week!

About the Artist:Travis Ivey creates his artwork in two distinctly different styles and philosophies. The first employs an intuitive approach to composition and design using collected materials and varieties of tape to create ‘paintings.’ The second, which Ivey refers to as his alter ego HANK, utilizes his background in graffiti and traditional plein air landscape painting. Ivey received his Masters of Fine Arts from Arizona State University in 2017 and has exhibited his artwork in galleries across the United States.
