About the Event

Join officials from the city of Scottsdale and Scottsdale Public Art for a dedication of the new Bell94 Sports Complex, including the Mesquite Bosque artwork by Mary Shindell. 

Mesquite Bosque will be the newest artwork in the Scottsdale Public Art Permanent Collection. The McDowell Mountains, located east of the complex, and mesquite trees around the sports complex served as inspiration for Shindell. The artwork features eight water-jet-cut aluminum panels, which border the facility buildings and the main entrance to the sports fields.
