While Arizona is known for its stunning outdoor vistas, its major metropolitan hub of Phoenix has its own unique urban landscape as well. The blues, grays, greens, and reds in this photo of a light rail station easily relate to those found in the natural Sonoran landscape. A modified twill made with linen was a perfect medium to allow translucent light, giving that diffused effect and the appearance of looking through screened light.
