Lost [Perdidos]

Lost is an artwork installation featuring large-scale botanicals that celebrate nature and inspire fantasy. The monumental flora celebrated in this artwork are based on endangered botanical species from around the world that are delicately colored and illuminated to highlight the beauty and wonder that has been, or that is soon to be, lost. The large-scale flowers and leaves of Lost are made from printed waterproof nylon, illuminated by internally placed LEDs, and inflated using continuous air blowers.
Amanda Parer, Parer Studio’s principal creative and founder, is an Australian artist who focuses her practice on creating large-scale illuminated art installations and exhibiting around the world.
Visitors are encouraged to touch the flowers and take photos.
Lost es una instalación artística con plantas botánicas a gran escala que celebran la naturaleza e inspiran la fantasía. La flora monumental que se celebra en esta obra de arte se basa en especies botánicas en peligro de extinción de todo el mundo, delicadamente coloreadas e iluminadas para resaltar la belleza y la maravilla que se ha perdido, o que pronto se perderá. Las flores y hojas a gran escala de Lost están hechas de nailon impermeable impreso, iluminadas por LED colocados internamente e infladas mediante sopladores de aire continuos.
