You Can’t Have The QuARTer Without ART

Scottsdale Quarter, in partnership with Scottsdale Public Art, presents a series of LIVE Mural Painting Events as a part of the Art at the QuARTer temporary public art installation series. Eight local artists have been selected to create four 4’ x 8’ murals live during the Scottsdale Quarter Fall Concert Series on Saturdays, 5–7 p.m., in September and October 2019.

Trained as a representational painter, Travis Ivey crisscrosses the lines of abstraction and representation with his newest murals. His work alludes to the western landscape, which he has painted and observed for over a decade, and recently he has found himself exploring different techniques to reinterpret the color palette of the desert. Ivey has worked in numerous public and private collections and is currently exhibiting both nationally and internationally. Instagram: @travis_aka_hank

After the murals are completed, they will be installed along North 73rd Place, near Creamistry, at Scottsdale Quarter. Come see the murals as they are created. Then check out the wall as the new murals begins installation in October.
