You Can’t Have The QuARTer Without ART

Scottsdale Quarter, in partnership with Scottsdale Public Art, presents a series of Live Mural Painting Events as a part of the Art at the QuARTer temporary public art installation series. Eight local artists have been selected to create four 4’ x 8’ murals live during the Scottsdale Quarter Fall Concert Series on Saturdays, 5–7 p.m., in September and October 2019.

Yai Cecream is a self-taught artist and designer from Madrid, Spain. She has spent the last 10 years in Phoenix creating art—digitally and in acrylic, spray paint on panels, canvas, and murals. Her work is a mix of fun, cartoon-like characters and geometric shapes with vibrant and exciting colors. She conveys a sarcastic sense of humor that looks to provoke a smile in the viewer. Her work has been exhibited and featured worldwide, including at the Phoenix Art Museum, La Tabacalera-Madrid, VICE creatives, Secret Walls, Apple, and more. Instagram: @yaicecream

After the murals are completed, they will be installed along North 73rd Place, near Creamistry, at Scottsdale Quarter. Come see the murals as they are created. Then check out the wall as the new murals begins installation in October.
