About the Event

Join us for the dedication of Breakaway by Tucson artist Barbara Grygutis. Breakaway is a cast aluminum sculpture depicting a rope with various knots. It stretches along both the east and west sides of the Drinkwater Boulevard underpass below Scottsdale Civic Center. Dedication ceremonies will include light bites and speeches.

Attendees will gather in the lower level of the Scottsdale Civic Center Library Parking Garage on the north side, closest to the library. Golf carts will transport attendees from the garage to the dedication site in northbound lanes of the underpass, which will be closed for the dedication.
